DISASTER RECOVERY

Mavim maintains a comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plan in order to effectively recover from unplanned incidents. This step-by-step plan consists of the precautions to minimise the effects of a disaster so that Mavim can continue to operate or quickly resume mission-critical functions.

Mavim works with Microsoft Azure and we always have 3 undisclosed locations within the region + 1 backup-failover location making business continuity and disaster recovery easier. Important to know is that currently we have an RTO objective of 20 minutes and RPO of 30 minutes. We test backup and restore monthly and full disaster recovery at least annually. 

RTO is how quickly the applications will be online in the secondary site, and RPO is how much data loss would occur in the event of a failover.
